In Autumn 2016, Gaylord College launched two new postgraduate certificate options: a Graduate Certificate in Media Management and a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Planning. These programs are open to both current OU students and non-students who hold a bachelor's degree, allowing applicants to pursue one or both certifications.
Unlike degree programs, graduate certificates represent standalone educational achievements. These focused course collections deliver specialized knowledge in specific fields. There's no need to enroll in a full 2-year Master's program - certificate candidates simply apply for admission, complete the required courses at their own pace (with no time constraints), and earn their certification upon finishing the curriculum.
