The University of Oklahoma's College of Dentistry provides students with a modern education in one of America's most lucrative fields, blending traditional dental care with advanced restorative techniques. Learners receive comprehensive training in implantology - the art of reconstructing oral structures - and put these skills to practice during immersive summer clinical rotations. The Dental Clinical Sciences Building serves as the primary training facility, featuring 112,000 square feet of space equipped with state-of-the-art technology for clinical education. Through rigorous coursework covering all aspects of oral health, graduates become well-prepared for careers in private practice, academic research, or teaching. Aspiring dentists start their journey at OU's Norman campus for foundational studies. While undergraduates can pursue any major, they must complete required pre-Dental coursework. Maintaining a minimum 3.5 GPA is strongly recommended. The Norman campus also hosts a Pre-Dental Club that organizes monthly sessions with industry professionals who share insights about their dental careers.
