They employ diverse research techniques to analyze human social relationships, organizational frameworks, societal changes, and the underlying reasons and effects of social conduct. Since social influences permeate all facets of human existence, sociology's scope ranges from worldwide economic systems to personal romantic connections. Sociologists also lead investigations into society's most urgent challenges, such as racial prejudice, gender bias, financial disparities, medical access, ecological decline, and religious bigotry. At OU's Sociology Department, students can explore these topics firsthand under the guidance of distinguished professors specializing in these fields.

Applicants must submit official transcripts from each institution attended.
Freshman must submit official transcripts from all secondary or middle schools attended. If secondary school in your country includes standardized graduation exams and certificates, official copies of these should be submitted.
All freshman applicants are required to submit one letter of recommendation, two additional letters may be submitted.
Any high school official, including a counselor, teacher, principal, etc. Preferably someone who knows the student well.
