The Department of Political Science serves as the intellectual hub for professors, staff, undergraduate and graduate students passionate about political studies and academic growth. Our department provides two bachelor's programs—one in political science and another in public and nonprofit administration—along with master's degrees in both political science and public administration, plus a PhD in political science. We stand out as one of the University of Oklahoma's most diverse academic units, where scholars explore everything from American government and global politics to policy analysis, governance, and philosophical foundations of politics.
