Students who major in Judaic Studies earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. Numerous undergraduates choose to complement their primary field of study with a Judaic Studies minor. The Judaic & Israel Studies minor offers personalized academic pathways, enabling students to focus on their specific interests. Alumni have pursued prestigious careers across various sectors including corporate environments, diplomatic services, public administration, advanced academic programs, and religious institutions. Employers frequently value Judaic Studies graduates for their cultural sensitivity, comprehensive understanding of global historical contexts, and the analytical skills developed through intensive Hebrew language instruction and other demanding coursework. Enrollment in foundational Judaic Studies classes is limited to 40 students per section. While most enrollees begin with no previous exposure to Judaic subjects or Hebrew, our classrooms typically feature a diverse student body with a significant non-Jewish representation.
