Enhance your knowledge of Elementary Education. The Master of Education in Teaching program explores how to apply educational theories to teaching methods, classroom management, curriculum design, public schooling, and effective instructional approaches for standard, special needs, and bilingual students. Through the Department of Teacher Education and Administration, you can earn a Master of Education with a focus on Teaching, choosing between EC6 Core Subjects or Secondary Education Certification paths. For EC-6 Elementary Education, specialization options include ESL Supplemental and bilingual generalist programs. Financial support is available through scholarships from both the Department of Teacher Education and Administration and the College of Education. Additional opportunities involve collaborating with faculty on research grants and projects, as well as working as a paid graduate student assistant.
