Medical professionals and scientists rely on data to enhance patient treatment. Consequently, specialists in health data must comprehend how to handle medical information and provide information services to practitioners, researchers, and patients, all aimed at bettering health results. The General Academic Certificate in Health Information aims to train data experts to offer medical information services across diverse environments. This GAC program will be available both fully online and through a blended approach mixing digital and in-person instruction. Graduates of the Health Information GAC will gain the ability to explain the critical role of data in healthcare systems, along with skills to find, assess, combine, and provide reliable medical information. They'll apply evidence-based methods when delivering health information services and recognize the specific data requirements of the populations they serve.
