The Organic Chemistry Division conducts diverse research spanning theoretical and experimental domains. Faculty explore core aspects of organic compound reactivity, organometallic complexes, and the development of novel chemicals for biomedical and energy applications.

Our Ph.D. program focuses on self-directed research in your selected chemistry specialization, complemented by rigorous coursework that builds foundational knowledge and prepares you to tackle modern scientific challenges. Doctoral candidates can specialize in Inorganic, Organic, Physical, or Analytical Chemistry, or pursue Chemistry Education as their primary focus.
