Explore how personal actions influence society and how social forces shape individual behavior. Sociology examines social dynamics, transformations, and the interplay between human conduct and societal structures. Researchers in this field analyze group formations, institutional frameworks, and social systems, along with interpersonal relationships across various settings. The scope spans from personal relationships to collective actions, from criminal networks to spiritual practices, and from societal divisions based on identity to unifying cultural values.

Our program delivers a thorough grounding in sociological theories and investigative techniques, blending required coursework with specialized electives led by distinguished academics.

Practical application opportunities include our culminating course, fieldwork placements, and research initiatives. The capstone experience emphasizes gathering and interpreting data, implementing theoretical frameworks, and communicating results. Internships allow students to tackle global challenges like population trends, family planning, and post-disaster rehabilitation in developing nations.
