Regardless of your professional journey, strong communication skills are essential. Communication studies explores human interaction across diverse settings, from personal relationships to digital platforms, workplaces, politics, and creative fields. Our communication studies program equips students with theoretical knowledge, research methods, and practical skills in verbal, written, interpersonal, and group communication - preparing them for various careers or advanced education.
During your studies, you'll investigate communication in creative, cross-cultural, digital, legal, organizational, and political spheres. You can research subjects like diversity, social justice, media, health, sports, and nonverbal expression.
The program offers three specialization areas:
Interpersonal, Digital and Organizational Communication analyzes communication theory's applications across different environments. It investigates how both human and digital interactions shape societies, communities, and individuals while teaching effective organizational communication strategies.
Communication, Culture and Public Discourse studies communication's role in cultural development. It analyzes persuasive techniques, public speaking, advocacy, and policy-making through the lens of communication.
Performance Studies focuses on performance as fundamental to human and cultural evolution. We constantly adopt various roles, using performance as a means to convey messages and meanings.
