Coastal communities confront numerous difficulties linked to rising sea levels, hurricanes, ongoing shoreline shifts, human and ecological well-being, and expanding development. To tackle these issues for communities and the nation, a creative and skilled coastal workforce is essential.
Our alumni have secured positions with state and federal bodies such as the North Carolina Department of Transportation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as well as with various private surveying and design companies across the southeastern area. Furthermore, some graduates have advanced to pursue master's or doctoral degrees at top-tier universities both in the U.S. and internationally. The B.S.
