The Master of Fine Arts in creative writing is a two-year, on-campus program focused on dedicated studio time for crafting poetry or fiction. Students hone their skills through intimate workshops in writing, literature, publishing, and arts.
Within this vibrant writing community, participants exchange feedback on their work under the mentorship of renowned resident and visiting faculty, who also provide personalized one-on-one guidance.

Alumni have published over 200 poetry collections and novels since 2008.
Numerous graduates have earned major literary honors, including MFA graduate Kelly Link, who was shortlisted for the 2016 Pulitzer Prize in fiction.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or appropriately evaluated credentials for non-U.S. schools.
English Language Proficiency: TOEFL: internet based - 79, or paper based - 550. A score of at least 6.5 is required on the IELTS.
