Students in the Terminal Masters program enroll in a broad experimental curriculum and usually collaborate with faculty specializing in various experimental domains such as developmental, cognitive, and social psychology, along with psychopathology and developmental psychopathology. The program also includes faculty capable of supervising thesis work in quantitative psychology and biological psychology. This Master's track aims to cultivate proficiency in psychology's fundamental areas and methodologies. Participants must exhibit research capabilities and possess both the technical skills and ethical principles to apply psychological knowledge effectively and responsibly in their professional and personal lives. The program concludes with students completing an original research thesis.
Available research tools feature a 64-channel ERP setup (Brain Products: actiCHamp with actiCap active electrodes), a remote eye-tracking device (SensoMotoric Products), and availability of a 3T MRI scanner (Siemens Magnetom Trio).
