Students pursuing graduate studies in Cognitive, Developmental, Social, or Quantitative Psychology complete a shared core curriculum while specializing through research and seminars tailored to their specific interests.
Our approach emphasizes collaboration, with the program's intimate scale guaranteeing personalized guidance for each student. While working closely with a faculty advisor in a mentor-apprentice relationship, students enjoy significant flexibility to partner with other professors and peers both inside and outside the Department. We actively promote publishing with multiple faculty members before graduation. Greensboro's central North Carolina location fosters strong connections with other leading institutions, providing students with course options, research partnerships, and professional networking opportunities.
For Fall 2024 admissions, GRE scores will not be considered for applicants to the MA-PhD program in Developmental Psychology.
