The Post-Master's Certificate program focuses on specialized coursework in advanced nursing practice (requiring at least 20 graduate-level credits). Designed for nurses with existing master's degrees, this certification enables them to specialize as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners. Those already certified in Psychiatric, Women's Health, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialties may qualify for course exemptions in their respective focus areas. Graduates become eligible to sit for either the ANCC or AANP certification exams for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners. All program requirements must be fulfilled within a four-year period. This AGACNP program operates as an intensive, on-campus experience requiring full-time commitment.
