The 21-credit Graduate Certificate in Teaching: Elementary Education is tailored for individuals with an existing bachelor's degree. Graduates who successfully finish this program qualify for North Carolina's Standard Professional I teaching certification.
The certificate's curriculum matches Phase I of the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) program.
