The UNC Charlotte School of Nursing equips future nurses to excel as leaders, practitioners, and researchers through cutting-edge academic programs tailored to address the changing demands of our multicultural healthcare landscape. Their mission focuses on delivering top-tier nursing education, research, and clinical services while actively partnering with communities to enhance wellness throughout the Charlotte area and surrounding regions. Five fundamental principles guide the School of Nursing: ethical practice, creative thinking, collaborative spirit, inclusive excellence, and academic rigor. Students can pursue both bachelor's and advanced degrees through the School of Nursing. At the undergraduate level, options include the traditional BSN pathway for pre-licensure students and an RN-to-BSN track for working nurses. Graduate studies feature the MSN with multiple specialization choices and the practice-focused DNP degree. Flexible learning formats, including in-person classes and online platforms, are offered for the RN-to-BSN program and select MSN concentrations.
