The Global Studies program leverages faculty and coursework from the Department of Global Studies along with other departments, equipping students with analytical skills to examine societies beyond the U.S. within our interconnected world. This interdisciplinary approach enables students to explore diverse cultures by bridging academic fields. The major proves especially beneficial for careers in government, law, media, education, commerce, or military service, as well as roles with international bodies like the UN or cross-cultural NGOs.
Graduates pursue careers across various sectors including government agencies, multinational corporations, nonprofits, educational institutions, research centers, media outlets, legal practices, financial services, and tourism. Professional paths include diplomatic roles, policy experts, trade specialists, UN personnel, intelligence analysts, language specialists, cultural mediators, reporters, corporate leaders, consultants, educators, tourism developers, military leaders, and humanitarian workers.
