Anthropology explores humanity as a whole. It deepens our shared comprehension of human identity, origins, diversity, and the significance of these variations. Through meticulous research and thoughtful analysis, anthropology fosters open investigation into human existence, sharing and implementing its findings across local, national, and worldwide communities. As E. B. Tylor from Oxford University, one of its pioneers, described it, anthropology serves as a science for social reform. This discipline is grounded in fundamental principles of mutual understanding, equality, free speech, and non-discrimination. Ruth Benedict of Columbia University, another early anthropologist, famously stated that anthropology aims to create a world where human differences are respected and protected.
