The chemistry master's program offers students deeper exploration of advanced chemical concepts beyond undergraduate studies, along with chances to enhance both verbal and written communication abilities. Direct admission to the master's program is granted only in exceptional cases; inquiries about immediate master's program enrollment should be directed to Student Services.
Earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree necessitates completing at least 30 credit hours. A standard degree pathway includes 18 hours of upper-level chemistry coursework plus 12 hours combining seminar classes and thesis registration (with a maximum of six CHEM 992 credit hours applying toward the 30-hour total).
The minimum requirements are a bachelor's degree (based on a four-year curriculum) completed before graduate study begins or its international equivalent with an accredited institution; an average grade of B (cumulative GPA 3.0) or better.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
