The UNC School of Law provides a comprehensive legal education that equips students for diverse career paths in law. Our curriculum establishes a strong legal foundation early, allowing students to tailor their studies and develop expertise in their preferred practice areas.

Students gain hands-on experience through our extensive clinical programs, externships, research centers, moot court competitions, and nationally recognized pro bono initiatives.

From our J.D. program to ten dual-degree options, our rigorous coursework prepares graduates to become tomorrow's legal leaders. Collaborative agreements with Duke Law and NCCU Law enable students to access specialized courses beyond our campus offerings.

By combining rigorous academics with practical training, we ensure graduates enter the profession fully prepared - whether pursuing private practice, public interest law, corporate counsel positions, government roles, policy work, or local community practice.
