Boasting more than 700 academic options, our History undergraduate program stands as the cornerstone of our department. Our professors regularly earn the university's highest teaching honors for their innovative approaches, whether in expansive lecture halls or intimate seminar settings. As a fundamental component of liberal arts, History examines the rich tapestry of human experiences throughout time. The History Department not only teaches students about bygone eras but also arms them with essential analytical, investigative, and expressive abilities for today's world, readying them for varied professions and engaged civic participation.
All students will be expected to have completed the pre-university curriculum (Secondary School/High School) in their country prior to enrolling at UNC-Chapel Hill. English Language Tests: TOEFL minimum is 100; IELTS minimum is 7.0; PTE minimum is 68.
