The Computer Science Department provides education and conducts research across fundamental computer science domains such as software development, web technologies, networking, system architecture, operating systems, compiler design, parallel computing, computational theory, and computer graphics. The Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science (B.A.) serves as the ideal choice for students seeking to combine computing with other academic disciplines. This degree equips undergraduates for careers in both conventional computing fields and areas where computing serves as a crucial supporting technology.
All students will be expected to have completed the pre-university curriculum (Secondary School/High School) in their country prior to enrolling at UNC-Chapel Hill. English Language Tests: TOEFL minimum is 100; IELTS minimum is 7.0; PTE minimum is 68.
