The Mathematics Department provides a Master of Science degree program in Mathematics. Our curriculum encompasses diverse subjects across pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and actuarial studies. Degree requirements consist of 36 semester hours for the non-thesis track and 30 hours for the thesis option. Thesis candidates must deliver an oral defense demonstrating satisfactory performance. Non-thesis students must successfully complete a comprehensive exam covering three graduate-level mathematics courses.
