The program fosters close collaboration among participants. Unlike isolated methodologies common in many screenwriting MFAs, this program nurtures artistic and professional growth by leveraging its unique position—a writing program embedded within a film production department in the School of the Arts. Students benefit from practical exposure to film production, directing, acting, documentary filmmaking, and digital media—experiences that enhance script quality and equip graduates to navigate the evolving landscape of professional storytelling.
