Globally acclaimed for its outstanding research and academic programs, the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department boasts 32 tenured and tenure-track professors along with more than 500 enrolled students. ECEUNM's faculty conducts cutting-edge research across pivotal domains such as applied electromagnetics, photonics, nanotechnology, communications, signal processing, biomedical technologies, sustainable energy, control systems, information systems, and network infrastructure. Several faculty members are distinguished leaders in their disciplines, with the department proudly housing eight IEEE fellows.
