The School of Public Administration's Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program was established to fulfill the pressing demand for advanced professional training among healthcare administrators and clinical staff. This program holds associate membership with the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA).
The MHA program's curriculum specifically targets the healthcare sector's challenges regarding affordability, service quality, and availability. It emphasizes administrative and policy matters relevant to healthcare institutions, covering areas like health data analysis, financial management, quality enhancement, organizational leadership, and strategic oversight. Course content is tailored to serve the unique requirements of our region's diverse communities, including Hispanic, Native American, rural, and economically disadvantaged groups. The MHA program aims to develop culturally aware, research-driven professionals capable of enhancing healthcare delivery and positively impacting the wellbeing of the populations their organizations serve.
