Our academic curriculum is founded on the principle that Anthropology, above all other fields, offers profound understanding of human identity, our evolutionary journey, and potential futures. By deepening students' knowledge of both historical and contemporary biological and cultural diversity, we equip them to navigate intricate challenges and positively impact communities at local, national, and global levels. Whether undergraduates opt for advanced anthropology studies, transition to other disciplines, or enter professional fields directly, we deliver comprehensive education through diverse formats - from large lectures to intimate seminars, complemented by specialized labs and fieldwork opportunities across anthropological concentrations. Our graduate programs train students for both scholarly and practical careers in Anthropology.
This program systematically examines humanity, our ancestors, primate relatives, and cultural systems through comparative analysis. Coursework encompasses biological/physical anthropology, primatology, paleoanthropology, archaeological methods, language studies, ethnographic research, cultural anthropology, psychological anthropology, and applied fields including medical anthropology, forensic applications, museum curation, and global policy studies.
