The Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Biomedical Sciences (MCBS) within the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture (COLSA) delivers this career-focused M.S. in Bioinformatics. A distinguishing feature of the M.S. in Bioinformatics curriculum is its flexibility to accommodate students of diverse backgrounds, and to provide a customized curriculum to meet the career goals that attracted them to this program. For admission, program applicants will be expected to meet the following prerequisites:
• GPA > 3.0 in prior academic programs, and/or excellent relevant work experience.
English Language Score:
Minimum score requirements are as follows: TOEFL (Computer-based): 213; TOEFL (Internet-based): 80; IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5; TOEFL ITP (Institution Administered): On case-by-case basis; TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication): On case-by-case basis; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 59.
