Obtaining a master's degree can serve as a gateway to career advancement or entrepreneurial opportunities. Notably, a graduate degree in chemical engineering may yield over $15,000 in additional yearly earnings compared to holding only a bachelor's degree. UNH's M.Eng in chemical engineering delivers specialized knowledge and hands-on experience across diverse domains such as bioengineering, electrochemical engineering, advanced materials, reaction and energy systems, and environmental engineering. The program culminates with an industry-sponsored engineering project.
An applicant to the master of engineering program will have completed a baccalaureate degree in chemical engineering. Students with good undergraduate records but with deficiencies in certain areas may be admitted on condition that they complete specified courses without credit to make up for their deficiencies.

Minimum score requirements are as follows: TOEFL (Computer-based): 213; TOEFL (Internet-based): 80; IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5; TOEFL ITP (Institution Administered): On case-by-case basis; TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication): On case-by-case basis; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 59.
Applications must be completed by the following deadlines in order to be reviewed for admission: Fall: April 1 (recommended US; final international); July 1 (final); Spring: Dec. 1.
