The University of New Hampshire's Graduate Certificate in Ecological Genomics offers cross-disciplinary education at the graduate level, bridging molecular and ecological perspectives. This program equips students to examine genome evolution through an ecological lens, employing a systems framework that connects processes at molecular, cellular, organismal, and ecosystem levels. Participants can customize their five-course certificate by selecting from diverse offerings across four major disciplinary fields, plus one mandatory seminar. Designed for flexibility, the program supports students pursuing diverse life science degrees and caters to those aiming for careers in either applied or theoretical sciences. A distinctive feature includes the inter-institutional pathway, allowing qualified students to complete certain requirements through courses at the University of Maine.
Students should be enrolled in any graduate degree program in the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture. Otherwise, students must hold a life-science related baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (or its equivalent).
