The Wildlife and Conservation Biology program equips students with diverse expertise to protect wildlife and ecosystems amidst challenges like expanding human populations, urban development, and climate shifts. This degree offers comprehensive training in natural sciences while teaching strategies for managing diverse species. Situated in New Hampshire's wildlife-abundant environment - close to coastal ecosystems and the White Mountains - UNH provides an ideal setting for wildlife conservation studies. The curriculum prioritizes practical learning through extensive laboratory work and field studies, with opportunities to collaborate on faculty-led research spanning big game conservation, ecological genetics, species recovery, habitat analysis, and ecosystem dynamics.
Each student must have their official high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.

Minimum TOEFL score is 80 (internet version), 550 (paper version), 213 (computer version); recommended minimum IELTS score is 6.5; recommend Duolingo score is 105 or higher.
