The Departmental Honors program (formerly called Honors in Major) enables students to engage in rigorous, specialized work within their academic disciplines. Any UNH student meeting GPA requirements may participate in Departmental Honors. While University Honors Program participants must complete Departmental Honors to earn an Honors designation at graduation, UHP membership isn't required to pursue Departmental Honors.
