Music instruction forms the heart of our institution. About 65% of our undergraduates pursue music education degrees, with all recent graduates securing teaching positions. You'll learn from distinguished faculty with extensive K-12 teaching backgrounds at UNH. The curriculum balances educational theory with hands-on practice, including teaching opportunities through programs like Summer Youth Music School and UNH's youth ensembles. Each student must have their official high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
