It explores how groups shape individual choices and actions, as well as how individuals can impact collective dynamics. Through this field, you'll gain skills in research methods, data interpretation, and statistical analysis while exploring critical issues like racial discrimination, gender disparities, urban and environmental studies, belief systems, substance abuse, and psychological well-being. This foundation prepares graduates for careers or advanced education in counseling, social work, medical fields, administration, teaching, market research, law enforcement, and public policy.

Each spring, Perspectives - the department's student-led digital publication - showcases outstanding undergraduate work. The program strongly supports international learning experiences, including UNH's signature Budapest-based justice studies program led by university faculty, to broaden students' worldviews.
