This program, developed in partnership with UNH's Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, combines liberal arts education with specialized professional training. Students can enroll in classes covering marketing, organizational dynamics, leadership principles, advertising strategies, and retail operations. A mandatory internship component offers practical experience and career readiness.

The Communication Department works jointly with the Marketing and Management Departments at Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics to deliver this business applications specialization. Designed for communication majors, this option enables selected students to complement their liberal arts foundation with professional education in fields like marketing, advertising, and organizational studies. Eligible students fulfilling all program requirements will earn a B.A. in Communication: Business Applications, with this distinction appearing on their permanent academic records.
