The field of digital media spans multiple disciplines, rooted in both technological theory and media ethics. Learners engage with contemporary digital media design and technology, acquiring skills to produce audio, visual, and web content. This program appeals to both creatively inclined and technically proficient students, equipping them with industry-ready expertise. The digital media specialization within communication arts merges media studies with computer proficiency, covering areas such as audio/video production, social media strategy, digital ethics, motion graphics, web development, and multimedia. Students work in editing studios to investigate how technology, creativity, and art converge, particularly in audio, video, and web media. The curriculum provides a thorough understanding of digital media project workflows, from initial concept and planning through execution and final editing. A mandatory internship offers practical media experience valued by employers and academic institutions alike.
Each student must have their official high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
