The Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program aims to develop professionals with strong technical expertise, managerial capabilities, and effective communication abilities. Graduates gain comprehensive knowledge to comprehend, deploy, administer, and articulate information technologies within business environments. This curriculum equips professionals with essential skills to efficiently oversee IT resources and facilitate organizational decision-making processes. Additionally, it introduces cutting-edge technologies and methodologies for addressing business challenges. The program prioritizes cultivating vital business competencies such as collaboration, leadership, and clear communication.
Two specialized tracks are available: Management and Data Analytics. The Management track strengthens capabilities in overseeing technological resources within enterprises, whereas the Data Analytics concentration develops expertise in guiding data-driven organizational decisions.
Management Track
Participants will acquire skills to oversee complete information systems development cycles.
Students will learn to align information systems strategies with corporate goals and vision.
Participants will develop abilities to collaborate across diverse teams to digitally transform organizations.
Students will master resource management for maintaining organizational technical infrastructure, including data assets, personnel, security protocols, and technological environments. Participants will assess digital platform vulnerabilities and security threats. Students will refine both written and verbal communication skills.
Data Analytics Track
Participants will learn to frame research inquiries suitable for analytical investigation.
Students will apply quantitative techniques to large datasets for organizational analysis.
Participants will evaluate security implications in data collection, storage, and analytical utilization. Students will address challenges in implementing data-driven decisions across diverse teams. Participants will examine IS project management processes while assessing associated risks and advantages. Students will enhance their professional communication abilities in multiple formats.
