The Master of Fine Arts in creative writing is tailored for individuals seeking an advanced professional degree that balances writing development with scholarly study in English. This three-year program features intensive workshops focused on refining students' creative output, complemented by studies in literary history, critical analysis, and writing techniques. Participants will cultivate a substantial portfolio of publishable work while gaining expertise in articulating their pieces' historical and literary significance.
As the highest academic credential in creative writing, the MFA equips graduates for college-level teaching positions and careers in publishing, literary representation, and editorial work.
