The Master's program in Higher Education Administration develops professionals proficient in subject matter, theoretical frameworks, research methodologies, and practical implementation. This curriculum equips students with the competencies needed for beginning leadership roles in the field.
The Master of Arts in Educational Leadership: Higher Education prepares learners for junior and mid-career positions within postsecondary education. This degree suits those aiming for careers in student services, athletic administration, institutional advancement, enrollment management, alumni engagement, or university communications. The coursework also benefits professionals in policy research, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations related to higher education.
This 30-credit program spans two years, featuring instruction from distinguished academics and practitioners with varied perspectives on higher education leadership. Participants gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to navigate the evolving landscape of postsecondary education. Students may also enhance their specialization by earning a complementary graduate certificate (details provided later in this document).
