The 18-credit Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice features the same four foundational Criminal Justice courses as the Master's program, plus one elective and a graduate research component conducted with either a faculty member or a local criminal justice organization.
After finishing the Criminal Justice Graduate Certificate, students will be able to:
show graduate-level comprehension of key criminal justice theories for managing both juvenile and adult crime through written work and presentations.
utilize major criminological theories to analyze specific crime issues, proposing suitable policy solutions in both written and oral formats.
