This program empowers educators and professionals in related fields to expand their expertise, competencies, and perspectives for more impactful work with diverse populations. The Equity, Diversity, & Language Education specialization equips doctoral candidates with deeper understanding of equity and diversity challenges in education, along with practical research skills.
The Equity, Diversity, & Language Education track provides doctoral students with advanced knowledge of educational equity matters and methodological training for conducting rigorous studies.
Participants will cultivate specialized expertise in one or two key aspects of equity and diversity in education, including:
gender studies, global/international/comparative education, intercultural/multicultural studies, race/ethnicity
bilingual education/language acquisition
Career opportunities for graduates span both educational and non-educational sectors, such as organizational leadership, talent management, professional training, international education, and institutional advancement roles.
