The Ph.D. program in chemical physics offers an interdisciplinary approach for students focused on atomic/molecular physics and physical chemistry. The curriculum combines mandatory core courses covering fundamental chemical physics concepts with significant freedom in selecting dissertation topics. Students can work with advisors from either the Physics or Chemistry departments. This program is administered by the College of Science.
