Geography explores the intricate connections between people and their surroundings, along with the spatial aspects of key global issues. The undergraduate program offers four specialized tracks or a flexible bachelor of science/arts in geography to match students' passions.
The climate, water and ecosystems concentration equips students with knowledge about climate systems, ecological dynamics, water resources, their interconnections, human influences, and societal impacts. Those focusing on this area will grasp environmental systems and human interactions, preparing them for careers in environmental consulting, urban planning, government bodies (like EPA, USGS, NRCS), and NGOs.
