Geography explores the intricate connections between people and their surroundings, along with the spatial aspects of key global issues. The undergraduate program offers students four specialization choices or a flexible general bachelor of science or arts in geography to match their academic goals.
The climate, water and ecosystems track equips students with knowledge about climate systems, ecological dynamics, water resource management, the interplay between water, climate and living systems, human environmental impacts, and societal consequences. Those focusing on climate, water, and ecosystems will gain expertise in environmental systems and human interactions. This path suits students aiming for careers in environmental consulting, planning departments, government bodies (such as EPA, USGS, NRCS), and nonprofit organizations.
