The Master of Science in Materials and Nuclear Engineering (M.S.M.N.E.) program equips students with comprehensive knowledge in either applied nuclear science and engineering—focusing on spent fuel management, criticality studies, or radiation detection—or materials science and engineering, with a specialization in material performance. This program offers two distinct degree paths: Materials Engineering and Nuclear Engineering. The Materials Engineering track features foundational courses in material science, metallurgy, and material durability, complemented by advanced coursework in corrosion engineering, physical and mechanical metallurgy, material mechanics, and nuclear materials. Meanwhile, the Nuclear Engineering track provides core studies in applied nuclear science and engineering, enhanced by specialized courses tailored to the student's chosen focus area.

Unofficial transcripts will be accepted as part of the application process. However, if an applicant is admitted, official transcripts will be required by the date specified on the Certificate of Admission. Transfer credits posted on another institution's transcript will not be accepted in lieu of the transcript itself. Only transcripts sent directly from the institution are considered official.
