The Master of Science in Health Physics program offers two specialization tracks: Environmental Health Physics and Medical Physics. ABET's Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission recognizes the Environmental Health Physics track. Meanwhile, the radiation therapy physics concentration within the Medical Physics track holds accreditation from CAMPEP (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs). Each graduate's diploma will specify their chosen specialization, either as Master of Science in Health Physics: Environmental Health Physics track or Master of Science in Health Physics: Medical Physics track.

Qualification Requirements
Overall GPA of 3.00 (A=4.00 or equivalent) in undergraduate work. Applicants with a GPA below 3.00, but not less than 2.75, may be admitted as a graduate provisional student.
Completion of a regionally accredited baccalaureate degree in health physics, one of the basic sciences, or in a closely related scientific or engineering field. Applicants holding a degree in a non-related field may be given special consideration if they have completed all prerequisite course work.
Bachelor's Degree - You must hold a four-year baccalaureate from a regionally accredited institution or an approved equivalent.
Transcripts - One transcript from every post-secondary institution the applicant has attended (regardless of whether a degree or credential was earned), showing all coursework, extension and correspondence work, any degrees earned, and the dates that those degrees were awarded. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted as part of the application process. However, if an applicant is admitted, official transcripts will be required by the date specified on the Certificate of Admission. Transfer credits posted on another institution's transcript will not be accepted in lieu of the transcript itself. Only transcripts sent directly from the institution are considered official. Failure to disclose all coursework and/or degrees awarded will result in rescission of admission.
