The Master of Education in early childhood education offers a thorough, modern curriculum for preparing educators to work in various early learning environments (including daycare centers, preschools, hospitals, community programs, early intervention services, agencies, and infant/toddler through second-grade classrooms). This M.Ed. program aligns with the Nevada Department of Education's Birth-2nd grade teaching certification standards (while also exceeding Nevada's state licensure requirements). Participants will study both typical child development and special needs cases while engaging in practical fieldwork. The program features two specialization tracks: birth to age 3 and birth through age 8. Through this Early Childhood Education Program, students develop essential knowledge and competencies for diverse careers in child education and intervention services.
