The Doctor of Medical Physics (DMP) Program aims to deliver an exceptional graduate education for students specializing in therapeutic medical physics. The final two years involve clinical rotations at regional radiation oncology facilities, providing practical experience in therapeutic medical physics applications. Qualification Requirements

Overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 (B average) in undergraduate work. Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 but not less than 2.75 may be admitted as provisional students.
Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Physical Science, or Engineering (with an equivalent of a minor in physics) from an accredited college or university.
Applicants with a master's degree from an accredited medical physics program who meet the entrance requirements may be considered for admission to the program. In addition, these applicants must have taken the American Board of Radiology (ABR) part 1 exam as a condition for admission to the program. These students will be required to take an additional 20 credits of electives (determined by the Health Physics Graduate faculty).

Transcripts - One transcript from every post-secondary institution the applicant has attended (regardless of whether a degree or credential was earned), showing all coursework, extension and correspondence work, any degrees earned, and the dates that those degrees were awarded. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted as part of the application process. However, if an applicant is admitted, official transcripts will be required by the date specified on the Certificate of Admission. Transfer credits posted on another institution's transcript will not be accepted in lieu of the transcript itself. Only transcripts sent directly from the institution are considered official. Failure to disclose all coursework and/or degrees awarded will result in rescission of admission.
