The Hospitality Management Major provides a comprehensive education for careers in the hospitality sector. Its diverse curriculum equips students with both managerial principles and practical skills needed to succeed in any industry segment after graduation. Alongside the university's core requirements, students enroll in specialized courses covering hospitality fundamentals, HR management, organizational dynamics, facility operations, hospitality legislation, and leadership/ethics training. The program also includes instruction in food safety, food service management, budgeting, professional growth, accounting principles, financial strategies, service excellence, and strategic operations.
Students must pass the PGA Playing-Ability Test before finishing the program. Those pursuing the PGA Concentration will take PGM 402 as one of their two required capstone courses for the Hospitality Major.
